Vietnam Travel Guide
A place on the list of Vietnam holidays is the small coastal town of Hoi An. The town exhibits a wealth of architecture that reflects the town's Japanese, Chinese, European, and Vietnamese influences. Prosperous Chinese merchants built elegant wooden houses, and these houses can still be seen today with their vividly painted walls, glazed roof tiles, and exteriors decorated with dragons and other mythical creatures. The Japanese covered bridge in Hoi An is its emblem and best known monument.
The Hotel Majestic is one of Asia's legendary luxury hotels, built during the French Colonial Period in the classic French Riviera style. After the fall of Saigon, it was turned into a government guest house. Fortunately for the tourist, it is now a private 5 star hotel that affords the visitor spectacular views of the Saigon River.
Ha Long Bay, a World Heritage Site, features thousands of limestone karsts and more than 3,000 islands. The area was home to ancient cultures such as the Soi Nhu Culture in 18,000 BC. Take a day or overnight Halong Bay cruise on this magnificent bay on a junk boat. Cruising is the only way to really experience this beautiful bay.
The beach at Hon Chong, on the Cambodia border has interesting rock formations and a cave that can also be explored by the adventurous beach goers. Vietnam has a lot of activities and sightseeing to offer. This is why taking Vietnam holidays will make anyone's vacation memorable.
While it boasts two major cities that contain a plethora of cultural sites, Vietnam is also blessed with beaches, mountains, and rainforests for the nature lover to explore.
